Situated in the bustling port city of Surabaya, Indonesia, this colossal steel structure warehouse was custom-engineered to handle the demanding storage and stacking of heavy industrial goods. Given its role in a major logistics hub, the facility required an architectural design that maximizes both ground space and vertical stacking limits.
To achieve this logistical efficiency, our engineering team utilized an advanced multi-span portal frame design. This provides an incredibly vast clear span, eliminating unnecessary interior obstacles and allowing heavy forklifts and large inventory racks to operate freely. The primary steel structure framework was fabricated using heavy-duty H-beams, treated with specialized marine-grade anti-corrosion coatings to withstand Indonesia's high-humidity, salt-laden coastal climate.
Time is a critical factor in global supply chains. As a premier overseas steel structure supplier, YG Steel Structure leveraged its state-of-the-art CNC manufacturing lines to guarantee fast factory production. All structural components, roofing, and wall claddings were prefabricated, thoroughly inspected, and securely packed for international shipping. This streamlined approach ensured rapid on-site assembly, allowing the Indonesian client to commence their port logistics operations exactly on schedule.
